Terms of service
Last updated: October 28, 2026
What Towing PR is
Towing PR is a technology platform that connects clients with independent tow operators authorized by Puerto Rico's Public Service Regulatory Bureau (NTSP). Towing PR does not perform towing itself.
Who performs the service
The assigned independent operator performs the tow and is responsible for their equipment, licenses, permits and insurance. Towing PR is not the operator's employer.
Estimate vs. final price
Before paying you see an estimate based on road distance. Payment is made upfront. If the actual route changes or the service stops midway, the final price is adjusted to the hook-up fee plus miles driven, and any difference is refunded to the same payment method.
Cancellations
- Free before a driver accepts, or within 2 minutes after acceptance.
- After that, if the driver is on the way or has arrived, the hook-up fee is charged and the rest refunded.
- If no driver accepts, or the driver cancels or does not arrive, you get a 100% automatic refund.
No-show
If the driver arrives and the vehicle or client is not there, the driver waits at least 10 minutes and tries to reach you by chat. With no response, the full fare is charged and is non-refundable. Chat and driver location are kept as evidence.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Towing PR is not liable for damage caused by the operator during the tow, delays from traffic or weather, or indirect damages. Vehicle damage claims go to the operator and their insurer; Towing PR will help with service records. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid for the service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Puerto Rico.
