Privacy policy

• Name and phone number.
• Vehicle pickup and destination addresses.
• Approximate and precise location, only while you tap “Usar mi ubicación” (Use my location) or use the map to set pickup. We do not track your location in the background.
• Vehicle information (plate, make, model and year).
• Booking history, receipts, ratings and service chat messages.
• Device and crash data (device type, OS, browser and error logs) to keep the app working.

• To dispatch the nearest tow truck to your vehicle.
• To calculate the service fare based on distance.
• To contact you about the service (verification code, tracking link and SMS receipt).
• To handle claims, refunds and safety incidents.

Only the tow operator assigned to your service (who sees the town before accepting and your name, phone number and exact location when close) and our payment, SMS and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

The app asks for location permission only to find where your vehicle is. You can decline and type the address or move the map pin instead, and change the permission anytime in your phone or browser settings.

Service, payment and message history is kept for up to 7 years to meet tax and regulatory obligations and to investigate incidents. Account data is kept while you have an account. Technical logs are deleted after 90 days.

• In the app: open Account, tap Delete my account, and confirm deletion. No email is needed. We delete your account, profile, saved vehicles and places. If a service, scheduled booking, payment or refund is still pending, deletion is processed automatically when it finishes; you can cancel the request while it is pending.
• By email, as an alternative: write to privacidad@towingpr.com with your phone number.

We delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except payment and service records the law requires us to keep.
